Then, I wouldn't want my child to be speach delayed because of their nanny.

You will find us through an agency. Agencies usually have the best jobs and we feel protected because the agents negotiate guaranteed hours and benefits and holidays, so that’s where you will find us. People looking for in between jobs or just doing nannying here and there are on care.com and sittercity etc. Hope that helps! You’re offering a good rate so you should be able to find someone great!
Exactly which agencies do the negotiating for the nannies?
[b]
Any agency should be negotiating for the family and the nanny. Care/sittercity are kind of places to find mediocre nannies. Go with an agency.
Are you bitter others have found nannies without coughing up a few extra thousand dollars?

She had nannied for another family and the mom who recommended her to us was friends with them and had met her at the bus stop. It was luck. But maybe talk to your neighbors or people at your preschool or wherever and see if you can gt any leads. Our youngest starts school in the fall and another family down the street has already asked me about hiring our nanny at that time.
The family asked you and not the nanny, right?
