No silly, everyone knows that when rich white kids fail it’s becuse they do it on purpose, and when everyone else fails it means they’re lazy, their parents don’t believe in education, etc.
This is part of the false narrative the real-estate industry pushes to drive up home values. Every MCPS school has a high-achieving cohort the difference is the degree to which poverty the impacts test averages. Honestly, some focus schools may in fact do a better job since the classes are much smaller.

I love the excuses, though. If non W schools have poor test scores that can't be because some kids blew off the test, but if W schools did, then it must be because they blew off the test.
This is very similar to if kids in poorer schools act up, it's due to terrible parenting, but if W kids act up, then it's because the kid has some SN.
