Looks like this is just a local tournament... why all the debate about a 2007 team playing up for a weekend to get some 11 v 11 experience? It's not like this is Jeff Cup or some other national tournament....

It is also as not if those same kids will not be playing 11v11 anyways in just a matter of months.

Is that a comment supporting or not supporting playing 11v11 early?

Really comes down to the team, if they are advanced and ready then why not. If they are struggling on 9v9, then wait.

I think this is complete BS. Logic to me says to play as much 9v9 on smaller fields for developmental purposes than to start playing up early so they are ready for the 11v11 Fall season so they can get some meaningless league wins at the start of U13. I understand what you are trying to say but I think the complete opposite. Just my opinion.

Most use got soccer/youth soccer rankings. Some coaches sandbag for the win and request lower brackets on purpose.

Wins at this age does not mean much, but they must be doing something right. I looked at their schedule and they played some pretty big powerhouses. Good to see a med size club do well.

That Arlington/Loudoun comment is BS, because according to that link Sya beat both of them or at worse tied one of them and beat the other.

Their kids will be cut in the future by kids who had parents that went somewhere that properly developed them. If you are that invested in 11-year old wins—well that’s not the place to be. Classic

Ha. Lol The standings from that link doesn’t even have those 2 Clubs in the 1 and 2 spots. Too funny

Adults trashing kids...classy. Maybe they like their teammates and coach. Could it be they just like playing together.
