The vast majority of Americans - especially Red State Republicans - can't budget for that kind of fiscal shock, sadly.

The "tax cut" is going to be worse next year due to inflation changes in the tax code. And let’s not forget this is a “temporary” change meanwhile corporations got a permanent one from 35% to 21% or lower.
