Early dismissal means that the high schools get out at 12:00. Does that sound like a good idea to you?

Yes, yes it is a good decisio so that it’s not a sh*tshow for everyone else this afternoon into the evening.

MCPS need to close early before thre traffic rush, there is no reason why surrounding counties are making good judgment calls and MCPS is the fat sitting goose unsure of what to do.

I work nights so I'm about to go to sleep, but want to set my alarm to wake me up before DD may potentiall come home if they announce early release.

Usually 2 hours but they closed 2.5 hours early on Tuesday.

Rush hour traffic means that the roads will be warm - that’s the best time for the kids to be going home.

A closure for a 2% chance of a dusting? You are ridiculous.

MCPS needs to close early so that it doesn’t collide with rush hour traffic, snow and ice, bad road conditions and the usual Friday jam. MCPS should have been a leader and made the call to close. Instead they wanted to play tough to keep schools open.
