I think most people will know how to say it, it's not really that rare. People may ask if you are Welsh or have some heritage connection to the name. If you use it, spell it Rhys.

I like a variety of names, mostly classic. I tend not to like surname names. I wouldn’t use top 10 names, though Benjamin and Charlotte are names I love, unless I had a beloved deceased relative with the name. So I’m firmly in the Theodore, Max, Hugo, Isaac camp when it comes to boys’ names.
Yawn. Not everyone has to use an overused classic name.
