When LP staff notices a person acting suspiciously or someone that they want to keep an eye on for whatever reason, they use the cameras to track them throughout the store. Certain areas are monitored more than others in stores (costume jewelry, accessories, basically anywhere with relatively small items that can be easily squirreled away) as well as the cash registers.
