Make that a four-way primary if Alicia Plerhoples can get enough signatures. She now also plans to run for Chair.

She’s decided she can skip the School Board stint (McElveen, Smith, Storck) and run directly for BOS.

It is absolutely not necessary to serve on the school board before serving on BoS. Given that only 2/10 of the current Members of the board were school board members, clearly its an exception vs the rule.

I was ready to support her for School Board. For Bulova's seat? NFW.

Fair enough. I support McKay bc he has actually served on the board. I believe one should serve on a legislative body before they choose to lead it.

McKay is by far the strongest candidate.

He is one of four people running in Hunter Mill. He is likely the most qualified from what I can see.

Majority.

Good to know.

So, Ryan's latest plan is to give all students in 7-12 a free day of protest/activism.

Another proof that his only interest is social activism and not education...........

Well, there is a pro-Palestine, anti-Israel activist running for the Boysko House Seat in the state House. There is a special election for House Va #86 on Feb 19. He's a strong supporter of the new Congresswoman who draped herself in the Palestinian flag when she won and called Trump a xxxxxxx. Not quite sure how this translates to the Virginia House, but if you google him, you don't find much about him except that he is a dentist and anti-Israel. Ran a boycott HP campaign in Boston because of HP's providing face recognition technology to Israel.

Can't get much more progressive than this.
