+1. The hairless woman idea came from pornography. Real women have hair. Any man that can't deal with it is not a man worth being allowed to see that hair.

Almost 50, happily married for just over 20 years, and hairy except for legs (which I only shave often in the summer and pits which I had lasered, so barely weekly now).

I actually find it sexy when men don’t need their women to be hairless or look pre-pubescent. I’m grateful my DH is one of them (we’re in our forties).

I am super hairy, and it's not even an ethnic thing, but I have no fertility issues. In fact, I got pregnant both times on the first try, and I've never had a miscarriage. I have had my hormones tested in the past, and while my testosterone is on the high side of normal, it's still normal.


ITA.. that ^PP's statement is weird. I'm hairy, too, and I'm East Asian, got pregnant easily both times in my mid to late 30s.

PP ("I'm super hairy"). Oh, I didn't mean to imply you made it up. I know hair is actually correlated with PCOS, etc. I just wanted to put it out there that I'm very hair with no fertility issues. Just in case someone is going into a worry spiral about their body hair.
