Why did I see a kid put popcorn in his nose and then eat it? They are kids, they do things that seem fine to them even when adults know better. And jumping on a bed is probably not all that safe. kids smack their heads and fall off the bed and hurt themselves jumping on beds.
Most kids are fine after visiting trampoline parks but a good number are hurt and the injuries can be serious. Parents should make an informed decision. Obviously, lots of parents enjoy the trampolines.

Don't forget, it's not just potential crashes/bad landings that are the issue. It's that the jumping impact is unnatural and might put too much stress on young bones:
"Young children are especially susceptible to trampoline injuries, according to Armin Tehrany, an orthopedic surgeon and founder of Manhattan Orthopedic Care.
“Their bones are still growing,” he said. Tehrany cautions parents that a soft surface doesn’t ensure safety because the mechanism of jumping on a trampoline — jumping to progressively higher heights and landing — puts a lot of stress on developing bones."
