the watch is also like five times more expensive...

If I was given a Fitbit instead, I would immediately return it for what I actually wanted.
It didn’t work for me because I couldn’t even leave my phone on my work desk and go in a meeting on the same floor, the phone is needed close by.
My Fitbit charge does that. If my phone is in my purse or anywhere in the house with me my texts and phone calls will show up on my Fitbit.

Go get what she wants.
you're just messing with me right?
well? everywhere else it's $230 the cheapest series 3 model.
But she doesn’t want one that’s from 2 generations ago! Cmon!

Anonymous wrote:Your first reason should not get you into trouble if you just explain you bought the Fitbit but then remembered too late she might prefer and Apple watch, and you offer to exchange it.
The second reason makes you sound cheap. I wouldn't bring it up unless purchasing the Apple watch will actually make a dent in your savings, or your wife is likely to agree that the extra cost is not worth it. I personally think they are overpriced but would have no difficulty actually affording one for DH if that was what he really wanted.
