43. No way would I share a bed unless it was some kind of emergency and nothing else was available.

I prefer my own room. I will share a room if my friend is concerned about cost but I would prefer to spend the extra and get my own room

Oh no! What happened?

I get my own room. I have a lot of trouble sleeping and would have a really hard time with another person there I’m not used to sleeping near. Plus I like some absolute down time.

My friend group consists of mostly 35-45 year olds. I don't mind sharing a room at all. I will only share a bed with my best friend of 25 years.

Yes. I’m an adult woman who has means. I will sleep in my own room I think.

when i was younger, i loved the social part and staying up late to talk, etc, but now that I am a mom of two and am over 40, i just can't do that anymore. I must have my own bed and prefer my own room (unless it's with my sister).

I'm pretty flexible. I've gotten my own room, shared a room, and shared a bed on different girls trips. My friends and I are all in our early to mid 30s and we go on a girls trip most years.

My bigger issue is the bathroom. I feel like you need 1 bathroom for every 3 women, otherwise it takes FOREVER to get ready to go anywhere. On our last girls trip, we got an airbnb with 3 bedrooms (4 beds) and 2 bathrooms for 4 women. It worked perfectly. We had enough space but were still together. We spent a lot of time drinking wine and chatting/catching up in the living room.

We used to share rooms/beds but now we prefer our own rooms. To get a nice AirBnB or VRBO we'll sometimes share rooms, but not beds anymore. I think the last time we shared a bed was 2 years ago, and it was clear that it was a deal breaker.

It can be hard because the women who are most insistent that they get their own room are the cheapest, but we've just put them in charge of finding accommodations.

No. I snore and I don't want to disturb people. Last girls trip, we got a condo and everyone had their own room. We were able to congregate in the communal living space and then go to our rooms to sleep/rest/recharge as needed. It was the best of both worlds.

Depends on the friend. The one girlfriend I usually go away with appreciates quiet time and likes to turn in pretty early like me sonits nice to share with her.

Are you staying in suite, condo, or a traditional hotel room (you could do one with adjacent rooms and leave the connecting doors open as needed)?

Room? absolutely. Bed? It depends on the size of the bed and who I'd be sharing with. I have a couple of close friends I'd have no problem sharing a bed with.

Question is how well you know the other ladies. My college friends and I do girls trips and always share rooms and usually beds too although depends on room configuration and how many of us go. For us the whole point is to be together. We all used to live together in close quarters and travel sharing rooms when we were young and couldn’t afford our own. Half the fun is staying up late talking etc. with these women who are like sisters to me.

Now all that said, if a bunch of Mom friends from my kids school or neighborhood invited me on a girls trip I’d still be fine sharing a room but would probably want my own bed.

The people who get their own room never seem to have as much fun as those who share. I think it's because people don't congregate as much in the loner's room, so that person always misses out a little. I've been in both situations.
