Does she do Irish dance? My DD was an Irish dancer, and this reminds me a lot of our situation. I'd love to share some advice.

If this is something your child is passionate about and she has spent ten years working 15 hours a week on I wouldn't pull her just because it will not give her a college boost. If you want her to contribute financially to the sport encourage her to do so.

In an earlier post the OP mentioned something about a studio. Sounds like dance or maybe gymnastics.

Thanks! She is clearly stuck with me for now; eventually she'll need to separate and rebel, but it has not happened yet.
