Anonymous wrote:I just found this thread. My children have been attending Veritas Fairfax since 2017 and we just love the place. The school has tripled in enrollment over the past 4 years. I believe it began with only a handful of students, maybe 50. Now there's probably around 160 or 170. The families are very involved, especially during COVID. Graduates have been accepted to top universities, but this is not why we are here. Veritas excels in that area, but more so in character development. My children have been more than thriving here. They are growing in who they are, and who they can be. Encouraging our children, especially during the Pandemic, is extremely important for their mental health. We are thankful that the school is not only about high SAT scores and AP courses, and recognizes the holistic aspects of their students. Plus, we are entering the home stretch of the school year, and they managed to stay open serving our children 5 days a week, with minimal interruptions. My children will be here until graduation. We are very thankful we found this school.
. Not weird, though. I really like Classical education.Don’t really know this school, but understand that it’s classical and small, however, many small schools start with family members coming together. So many of the area schools, like ones mentioned, Fairfax Christian School, and others, employ family members. Hardly creepy or cultish, and certainly not something you would compare to what happened with the Catholic Church and their schools. In politics, think of how many other Presidents employed their family members. Not just Trump. JFK’s Attorney General was his brother, Bobby. He wielded a lot of influence. Just my opinion.Anonymous wrote:Also horrible, of course. Doesn’t negate the weirdness of this though.
