I'd assume there are some good white, Latino or Asian superintendents out there, especially when you do a national search, but maybe not.

And then at the end of it rolls out some new strategic plan in a fancy report, which is just old wine in new casks.
And in the meantime everything is on hold / people are treading water. Just give Alexander the job and let's all move on.

The school had 3 counselors ( former teachers) at one point while different subs were covering teacherless classrooms. That’s when the in boundary parents ( about 15 % of the overall population back then) pulled their kids out and enrolled them elsewhere. The school flourished after she left becoming 80% in boundary a few years later.
I second this. Her leadership at Ross was very questionable. Maybe she is more effective in admin outside of the school environment. Maybe. Her decisions were swift without a lot of foresight about the impact on the students and families.
Can you write more on her time at Ross? I didn’t see any old threads here that suggest that would be the case.
I also don’t know why you’d promote this sham of a Bunker Hill comment without proof. Bunker Hill started growing again because we suddenly got a guaranteed right to PK and then asked for more seats the year after. And Bunker’s got stiff charter competition too; I would not have considered it as an option without the guarantee at PK.
