thinking about getting another opinion at least-- thanks. current RE is very clear i may never be pregnant.
I have DOR and had a good experience with Dr. Jeanne O'Brien at Shady Grove. She seemed to really know what she was doing, and was both realistic and positive.

Your subject line and later posts suggest you posted the same day as your procedure ("nurse just told me")... If it has in fact only been 9 days, that seems too soon to 100% rule out that the IUI failed, unless your period started. My beta was scheduled for a full 2 weeks after my IUI.
Regardless, I'm sorry that you're at this crossroad. Your questions should be directed to your RE in a very frank discussion. Insist that your RE write down the chance of success for each option you discuss. More so, consider taking the advice of several of the PPs and seek out one or more second opinions from other clinics in the area about chances of success with the methods they offer (i.e., NC-IVF at Dominion).
Thanks. I just got a full-flow period so I kind of assumed I'm out.
Really sorry OP. Were you on progesterone? I did Prometrium suppositories after ovulation for several months of TTC naturally and definitely after my IUI...I wouldn't get a period until I stopped them, but I have heard that progesterone doesn't suppress every woman's period. If you weren't taking progesterone after that, I would insist that you have next time!
