What 65 year old male actor has emaciated himself like that on purpose? I can't think of one. There have been some much younger males and females who have both put on and taken off weight for roles which was probably hard on their bodies but something a younger person can reasonably recover from. I can't imagine a 65 year old doing that to themselves for a role but maybe that's what happened to KLG. Hopefully she'll recover quickly from it.

Concern is not the same thing as "body shaming". I found that picture of KLG genuinely concerning.

Shania doesn't look that different.

I had no idea who was in the middle.

Shania looks fine but completely different. Nobody would recognize her as Shania if she were out in public.

Shania looks like Shania to me on screen - just a little older but the same person. The still shots show a difference in her appearance from 10/15+ years ago but that is really to be expected.

I'm glad that she's out in the public eye again. Good for her!

I think there's more than grieving going on with her. She looks sick. I hate to see that.

It looks like she’s had a really hard time. I’m happy to see her out in the world and trying to reengage in a life after Frank.

Shania looks very different to me. Not in a bad way, but like a sister of who she used to be.

I think Shania looks fine. Agree that KLG looks unwell.

Apparently there’s lots of articles online where people wrote in to the show after KLG’s appearance, stating she looked too thin and horrible.

Poor thing that's sad to see .
