I have never snapped at my kid for waking me up. But I'd be pretty annoyed if DH acted like OP. He said yes once, you don't need to keep harping on it. Op is going to be a bad parent.

I think I put an extreme value on sleep but I don’t see the issue with what he’s doing. I’d either go on my own or if that’s not possible, I’d just wake him around the time I know he’d need to be up with a cuddle and a kiss and some coffee and ask him if he’d please come with me. I think the first few moments Of the day are very important-they set the tone for the whole rest of the day.

Why the hell would you wake him up at 930 if he doesn't need to be ready to leave till 11??? Why would a guy need an hour to get ready to go see a buffet? You should have woken him up at 10 or 1015.

I'd be super annoyed on his shoes. Don't do this again.
