That’s what pushed me to get my dent fished—those skeevy guys pulling up and trying to sell me a repair job.

I use to live on the Upper Westside in Manhattan. This pretty much describes every car parked on the street. Loved living there!

No, I would not repair. I stopped repairing cosmetic damage to my car when we moved to the DC area. Not worth it.
If your family members are so invested they can pay for the repairs.

I drive a 15-year-old Acura that runs well but it's got the usual assortment of dings and scratches from careless drivers. Plus one stupid dent from when I hit a column in a too-tight parking garage. I just don't care anymore. I'm hesitating on getting a new car because I know that first dent or scratch will really piss me off!
