No, the Cluster boosters convince Jeff to erase these threads and hide discontent. It's a sort of Pravda.

It’s not easy now. OP will probably be stuck at Watkins next year.

No, that was 3 years ago. It's been easy to bail for charters for the past decade

NP. Why don't the in boundary Cluster parents who are very unhappy with their principal get organized petition and lobby to oust her? I remember how in boundary Ludlow parents did just that a decade back. They literally went door to door in their little school district collecting hundreds of signatures (including mine) in favor of getting rid of a principal who had become very unpopular with neighborhood families. DCPS then got rid of the guy.

IB Cluster parent thrilled to have an OOB spot at Maury, where my kid gets pulled out for above grade-level math and reading.

We were fine with Peabody and may even return to the Cluster for Stuart Hobson if their honors classes continue to draw in IB families. Watkins was the missing Cluster link for us.

I know this thread is about Watkins but I agree with PP. I have experience at both school and Maury is hands down better. Kiddos are pulled for both enrichment and remediation.
