It's basically stock but made with bones and not (necessarily) vegetables.
It's one of the things people used to eat back when we weren't all eating processed crap all day.... back when people were much healthier than now.
This. It has protein in it which regular broth doesn't have. When you eat Keto your body loses water and I've found that bone broth (with it's protein and salt) is a good way to replenish in the morning. I also drink lots of water.
I've been doing Keto/IF for about 60 days and have lost 22lbs. After much research I decided to incorporate the bone broth. I got this kind.

I fast from 8pm until noon next day (16/8). If I drink this in the morning (9am) is that breaking my fast? And if it does, does it really matter? Will it make a difference?
If anyone can chime in, please do.

So my percentage of fat is probably not where it should be for Keto. But when I look at the videos of people who have successfully lost a fair amount of weight on Keto, they aren't going overboard on the fat, either.
I’ve done that too, but not having enough fat doesn’t give me the full benefit of keto. I’m get many more benefits from it if I add more fat to my diet.
That's the part that's confusing to me. How does adding more calories into your food help with weight loss? I've seen people putting butter in their coffee?! I just can't...

Almost 2 years ago was told to get on it because of PCOS, and when I questioned the diet (because Keto Flu symptoms grabbed my attention) the nutritionist went into how it’s not appropriate for most .
Yet everyone is on it- and they’re seeing results. Is it basically starving the body? I don’t get it yet.
Your body uses carbs as the goto energy source, buy restricting carbs your body is forced to use fat and protein as an energy source. You are not starving your body of anything, Keto Flu is nothing. You might feel sluggish for a day or two but thats it. Drinking some warm bone broth between meals dealt with the keto flu for me. Also make sure you have a lot of prepped food and snacks on hand to grab when you are hungry
