Tell her you will gladly shave off the stash so you can be as intimate as before, if that's all that is really holding her back If she responds with joy, then do it. If she talks you out of it, then you have a different problem and it isn't the stash?

I don't like passionate kissing right away. Try little kisses on places other than her lips first. ears, neck, chest. Then move to gentle kisses on the mouth.
Also, If she says it's the mustache, shave it.

We have a great sex life except every time we french kiss I get a sore throat. We no longer kiss that way.

This. Or she's cheating. There are no other realistic explanations. Everything else is an excuse.

For me, kissing is more emotional than sex, and I need some sort of an emotional situation. So like during good makeup sex, after being upset and then relieved. Or after being away from each other. Or even like, after watching a really dramatic movie together.

On an average day, things just aren't very emotional, there is no sense of big feelings, and so I'm not that into kissing. You have to be realistic, you can't sustain big passion for years. People who do usually have a pretty crazy life with lots of interpersonal drama.

When DH was of normal weight, I was still attracted regardless of his facial grooming habits.

When DH became overweight (100lbs over), I couldn’t muster up any attraction when he wasn’t putting effort into the grooming. Longish hair and stubble/beard was just disgusting.

I wouldn't want to kiss a man who has a mustache either.
