I've seen a guy with this look on his face and it was hilarious.

It sounds like a compliment to me. I consider a catcall to have improper language or sexually explicit language or degrading language associated with it. A compliment is saying something nice without making someone feel uncomfortable. The guy sounded nice according to your description.

I walk to work everyday and it is a 30 minute walk. Men and women sometimes say something complimentary. Such niceties do have a way of starting your day on the right foot.

Pregnant women are often hot, maybe because you know that at least at some recent time they were into sex.

A year ago I was leaving the gym in my yoga pants and a guy behind me said "I like your walk!". I was like whatttt and turned to face him with my 8 month pregnant belly and said "are you serious?" He was embarrassed but I sure felt good that from behind I still looked pretty darn good.
