I hate to say this about my own brother, but I've lost so much respect for him as a man. These men, it's not just diapers, they are lazy AF all around when it comes to the kids. Ots pathetic and weak. I would not blame my SIL is shes never intimate again with my brother. Hige huge turn off.
+1 It is a huge turn off, and men don't seem to get this. They think they are entitled to all the benefits of marriage but not the hard work of being a dad and good husband.
+2 At my first real job after college, a manager talked about how her husband was so proud that he never changed diapers. Not even just a wet diaper, not for any of their three kids. He was of the opinion that it wasn't something a real man should have to do (even though he was the big push for having kids in the first place) so she could never leave the kids home alone with him until they were potty trained. That conversation stuck with me enough that when DH and I were getting serious and discussing our future, we had a conversation about parenting and I made sure to bring up that I could never respect a guy who behaved that way and DH wholeheartedly agreed.
Obviously, it isn't a perfect barometer of "good father" but there is a very low probability of a man being a good father if he's the type to refuse to take care of diapers ever.

We have 2 kids and he has probably changed 5 poop diapers total. He throws up often. I am not very sensitive to smells and I have no problem changing the diapers.
On the other hand, I am a shitty sleeper. If I wake up, I take forever to fall asleep. I have insomnia, etc. DH is an amazing sleeper and he did 75% of the night wake ups with both of our kids. He would take the 11:30pm to 5:30 am shift and then I would let him sleep until 7:30-8. He was not too exhausted and I was happy.
I’ll take 100% of changing if I can keep a few more hours of sleep

They may gag too much.
But that is no excuse for your husband.
Because he conceived the child.
So he needs to suck it up + care for his child.
In other words....
Man up.
This. My dh absolutely gags and has thrown up a couple ones right after changing Dds poopy diapers or underwear during accidents. And it's happened multiple times and he kept doing it because he's her dad and it's his responsibility. When we were both home he still offered and did it even if it was so easy to just ask me to do it as I'm not bothered by it.
