That was the case at our ES. People want to appear like they're helping, but not actually help. "I was there! It was great. The kids were so cute. The other moms & I loved it." Vs. "I was there. I cleaned up the mess Larla and Larlo made. It was hard work, but I know I helped out."
In the words of my boss at my first job at a fast food joint, "If you have time to lean, you have time to clean."
