Due diligence was followed...I'm betting the kid was in the middle or back of bus and the aide was sitting in the front chatting with driver oblivious to the fact the remaining passenger was in respiratory distress, seizing, or whatever medical emergency happened.

Probably not? Based on what?
Instead of speculating, read the news. The Post reported on the day it happened that both the driver and an attendant were on the bus with the child. The article is still online today.

It was on a special needs school bus. Most of the children in Fairfax County are not on special needs school buses at 2PM in the afternoon. Parents who children qualify for this transportation know how medically fragile their children are.
I think most people just want to be reassured that the "medical emergency" was not being left on the bus all day.

2 pm is an odd time for a child to be on a school bus.
Sorry but if my baby dies yesterday on a school bus due to a medical issue, the last thing I would want would be for his private medical information to be shared online for all the Looky Loos to debate.
If there is no criminal wrongdoing then it really is not your business.
So sorry. Didn't know that the age of the child is private medical information. Please accept my apologies.
