I have a few co-workers who live in Springfield and they love ot but the school scores scared me off. I guess the consensus is that the great school scores are to be ignored. Compared to Montgomery county they’re awful for NoVa.
Really? I'm looking at Great Schools scores for W. Springfield right now and I see:
Irving Middle School 7
West Springfield ES 8
Keene Mill ES 9
West Springfield HS 9
Hunt Valley ES 7
Orange Hunt ES 7
Sangster ES 9
If we're cherry picking schools sure but a lot of the HS have awful scores on great school.
Awful. Better stick with MoCo.
Cherry picking? The PP suggested 22152 for a good balance in schools and home prices. There is one high school in 22152 and that's WSHS. All of those schools serve that zip code.

you can get a condo in Mclean for 700K and live there until your kids graduate.
Worse schools in VA:
- Justice (aka Stuart)

Troll post?
Seems obvious. MoCo wishes it had a few more schools as good as West Springfield.
Ha, ha, ha.
Now, this is a troll post.
