Anonymous wrote:I was disappointed watching the 3rd ep last night that there was a graphic sex scene. The context of it was gratuitous. Heads up to people who like that! But I don’t.
There was also some in ep 2 but I don’t know the extent bc I hit FF. As for ep 3, I kept FF but it went on and on and on.

If Chris Pratt can go from schlub in Parks in Rec, to the Jurassic trainer and cosmic starlord, this seems like a small jump.

Wow, I truly had no idea all of those movies are/were linked.
I didn't either! Especially Hunt for Red October - I had no idea that was a Jack Ryan story.
Seriously? Hunt for Red October was the first novel Clancy wrote. It came out of the blue and was a huge best seller. Ryan was his main character.

Apparently he worked with folks from Potomac Boat Club for the filming - so I'm going to hang around for at least that part. Plus I like the idea of a dork morphing into an action hero. And Wendell Pierce is on the show. All good reasons to check it out. Whether I'll stay with it or not, I don't know.
