OP here. I'm not a stranger to fantasies nor innocent flirting. I know where to draw the line. While I don't think I'm a prude, I wouldn't consider myself overly adventurous. This fell into a different category for me.

It's totally fine to fantasize about the 'what if' element of this guy's proposal. It's fun, nothing more. I fantasize about a man I see regularly but don't know at all. Don't feel bad/weird but don't pursue it either. Your fantasies will always be more fun than the actual guy.

Man here, I went through a sexual bad boy phase, for lack of a better word, in my late 30s. Those lines work often. "You look stunning in that dress, but it would even better on the chaise of my hotel room, with you laughing delirious from the best sex of your life.". With a wink, of course. Here's my number, if your game.

I got a few calls, mostly married women, some just text flirting but some went through with it.

I am surprised you are just fining out you respond to sexually confident and assertive men. It's near universal (although if I said it to my wife now she would laugh at me, such is marriage)

I've said the exact same thing (and a half dozen variations of it) to probably a dozen women in the last dozen years and with no intention of cheating on my wife. It's called flirting and its fun.

BTW- two women have actually flashed me their t*ts after I said the same thing and I highly doubt one told her husband and I guarantee the other never mentioned it. I also guarantee she would have slept with me.

Mid 40s married women are ripe as all get out for poaching. Just for the reasons you illustrate here.

Theyre terrified of losing their looks and turning into their mothers.

Don’t take flattery from someone’s drunken words. His words were actually disrespectful to you. You are worth more than that. He doesn’t have a right to talk to a married woman that way. It was probably because he was drinking, but it doesn’t make it right. Get it out of your head. Find a hobby or activity that brings you joy and focus on that until this gets out of your head. This thought will pass and then you won’t think on it.

Goes to show, you can't always rely on the frontal lobe to tell you what the limbic system wants. If someone had asked OP, would some doofus saying "show me yours" at a party get her hot and bothered, she would have said "absolutely not; that's creepy." And yet, here we are.
