This place is fun. Sand at your feet if you eat outdoors and live music too.

It is fun but the food is overpriced and gross. But, a good place to go for ambience and fun for the kids.

For Italian, Touch of Italy in the Holiday Inn at 66th Street. So good it fills up -- make reservations.

For crabs and some other seafood outdoors on picnic tables, On the Bay Seafood at 42nd Street.

The Crabcake factory has the best crabcakes and Bloody Marys

Albertinis Italian restaurant next to the Shanghai Buffet has brick oven pizza and homemade pastas.

Ponzetttis has the best pizza.

Bull on the Beach for pit beef.

The best all around restaurant is Liquid Assets on 94th Street. The cheese and charcuterie boards are great. They have a good waygu beef burger and good Caesar Salad. Their dessert donuts are also fantastic.

Agreed! It's almost to the DE border but worth it! We'd never tried it but stayed near there last year and I think we got a pizza almost every day (or someone from our group did).
