We bought a Peloton bike which we love. I am planning to sign up for some pilates reformer classes, yoga, and barre - I have decided I don't like the loud gym atmosphere at Lifetime and if I can do something more mindful or peaceful I might stick with it better.

I'm a teacher and tried doing this last year. I got up at 5:15 and worked out but I was exhausted during the school day which wasn't good. I need a lot of energy to keep up with the kids and I just didn't have it on days I worked out. I'm not one of those people who get energized by an early morning workout although I wish I was. The issue is that I'm also too tired to work out at the end of the day.

If that’s the case I hope your diet is extremely strict.

Hi OP! I commend you for wanting to figure this out. I think one of the most important things is figuring out what type of exercise you LIKE doing, as well as the conditions you prefer doing it in. Are you a runner? Do you like workout videos? Tell me what you like and I'll help you figure out how to do it. With the exception of the last couple weeks of pregnancy - 5 weeks postpartum, I have been exercising at least 3 times a week for the past 12 years, but in LOTS of different forms, spanning from big-box gym, to apartment gym, to studios, to running outside, to home videos.
