I am pointing out that it is hypocritical for a Republican to do so. And also bad for education, but that's a different issue.


I didn't like the calendar decision either, but you are wildly blowing it out of proportion. Neither party is that intellectually consistent and this is a pretty minor breach of Republican ideology.

And in terms of being bad for education, it is starting classes one week later. It really doesn't affect the quality of education.


Yes everyone calm down it barely affects anything. I actually prefer longer summers especially now with kids in high school. More family time

I agree. Republicans traditionally want as local control as possible. Hogan just bought into the Franchot crazy train on that...
