Which is closer for nearly all N arlington families above Lee Highway than S Arlington.

There are a lot of arlington players as a result.

Not N Arlington on the Orange line. The Rosslyn-Courthouse-Clarendon-VA Square-Ballston corridor is closer to LongBridge and Gunston. I prefer going to either of those over Williamsburg as well.

Not all but quite a few school zones are closer to other practice fields (McLean/Pac etc) vs Arlington practice fields
Tuckahoe
Nottingham
Discovery
Jamestown
some of McKinley
some of Taylor (spout run /donaldson area)

Are closer

PAC pp here. Obviously depends on where in Arlington you live. We are near Nottingham so it’s not further for us to go to mosaic vs the ASA locations. Also, I’m. It sure how ASA schedules team practices since they are so large, but I appreciate that PAC practices are always Tuesday-Thursday at LJ for the elementary/middle school boys teams, and the times are standardized by year group. It is helpful to coordinate my kid’s other commitments and my commitments with my other children when I know well in advance what the times/days will be vs waiting until the fall season begins and then having to move other things around because of soccer practice.

Long bridge can be an easier commute at rush hour than anywhere west. Rush hour traffic tends to be east-west, so getting to McLean or PAC practices can be tough from Arlington. Long bridge is against traffic unless there is a Nats game or something.

Above lee highway? Lee highway runs from the Potomac River upward. It cuts through the middle.

It’s a lot farther for us in Clarendon/Rosalyn. Long Bridge and Gunston are 5 minutes away. Luther Jackson can be 40 min at rush hour.

Why is Annandale a train wreck?

NP here. Not sure what PP experiences was but we were unhappy with them. Constant rotation of coaches and it made a huge difference whether you had a senior or assistant coach. Fees doubled but they couldn't tell you who would coach, what team DC would be on, where practice would be, etc. They seem to take everyone so many players goofing off.

ASA ADP is better for development than travel.
Last year two games players were only allowed to play with non dominant foot. It was funny, and painful to watch. But damn if my girl did not improve with her left foot 200% this spring!
