My DD plays on one of the strong clubs' B team so she can stay active, keep a stick in her hand, and DO OTHER THINGS. She has a friend on a Stars blue team who actively posts on social media how sick of lacrosse she is and wishes her mom would stop signing her up for so much lacrosse. You all should listen to your daughters and get lives.

They'll switch because they want a new coach, don't want to play on a B Team, want a chance to play a different position etc. MS Club games don't matter as the PP mentioned, but the training does. So choose a Club where your DD is going to learn the game, have fun and will be prepared to play in HS. Best of luck to everyone.

Obviously the best option at this point is for her to work harder and get better so there is no question about her ability and team placement will come when she is older.
Not being mean, just saying there are plenty of girls who have played Stars Black and gone on to sign D1, difference is those parents supported there daughter and encouraged them, and didn’t go looking for other options. It’s all about perspective and determination.

If you want to switch clubs you are not worried about when Stars has their 7/8 Tryouts, because you know your daughter will have a team. I haven’t heard of a 7th or 8th grade girl leaving Stars Blue for another club mentioned above. But there are plenty of girls coming the other way in 7th and 8th grade. So it doesn’t matter when Stars has tryouts.
