Other than the origami kit my 11 year old would not like anything in this list. Kids this age are unpredictable so a gift card to Target or Amazon is the best choice

Any of the cute little things they sell at a toy store or target like: small stuffy, needoh squishy ball, etc

I've given gift cards for the closest ice cream place to both boys and girls this age, and they've been received with huge excitement. And it's not even posh!

My kids have gotten Apple gift cards before. I think the expectation was they would use them on apps.

Girly girls are a very small subset of girls. Trust me I have 3 girls and they are all preppy and athletic. Only 1 is "girly". The others are more into sports than "girly" stuff

No way! My 8 yo is into these. At 11 they pretend to be so grown up. Money or gift cards will be the safe bet. Cash is best too, less hassle.
