30 in ES
33 in MS
35 in HS

those are pretty high caps. I called all three a few months ago when trying to decide where to go and that potentially could be your child's classroom size.

There are 4 girls on DD’s soccer team who live out of bounds. Two use a grandparents’ address, one uses an aunt’s address and one uses a friend’s address. None of them have a COSA. They have been doing this for years and it has never been an issue.

I guess it’s also very tough to prove residency fraud? If the family above is using a grandparent’s address, then they are having bills sent there. Tough for MCPS to actually prove where the family lives.

My guess is that the family who lived in Howard County has a mailing address in MoCo and used that to get report cards and stuff mailed to. That is what most families do.


Pure speculation.

Just report it and make MCPS do their jobs. I'd report to hotline, individual schools don't deal with this appropriately, if at all.

If you want to report them, just call the school. No need to make it complicated with fancy hotline numbers.
