For some reason this is the first year I've noticed a ton of fireflies in our yard. They might have always been there and I only noticed this year.

I go camping in the Appalachian mountains every year in the summer and one of the biggest things I look forward to is seeing both stars and lightning bugs in the unpolluted sky.
