I have no idea what some of these posters are going on about. Are they trying to split hairs and say Lehigh is not a LAC? Because it certainly hits the preppy LAC with greek life boxes in my book, and my spouse went there. I went to Lafayette and it does, too. As do Colgate and Bucknell and basically Villanova. I don’t know much about Wake but my niece looked at it and described it as a LAC type campus (my words, not hers) and definitely with greek life. BC is pretty also with a LAC feeling campus (I went to law school there, don’t know anythingg about the undergrad classes). I know nothing about Richmond or Conn College, so assuming those two are not LACs with preppy greek life, the. I’d say two college ls on this list are off but otherwise it is a great place for OP to start looking.

The other thing to consider, OP, is residential vs. non-residential greek life. Definitely very different things.

Wesleyan, Tufts, Hamilton, Trinity. The rest, no.

To the posters simply offering criticism and not suggestions, this list and others posted these are simply starting ideas for OP and her son to check out, not carved in stone lists of where her son will apply - she and her son can start to read up on these colleges and visit and he will see what he likes. Many of the colleges named have the vibe that Op’s son likes even if it doesn’t check every box she named (Wake Forest is a good example of that).

That’s ridiculous. As the parent of two kids who attend/ed LACs, there are a lot of overlapping applications from this list and the other posted.

Sorry but it is a dopey answer. Do any of the NESCAC’s have Greek life? If so I don’t think it’s many. I’m too lazy to look it up.
