Well, I know someone who is going to Cabo for a business meeting and two area police officers are taking leave to accompany them as personal security. This is in addition to the extensive security provided by the resort. People are pretty desperate to get out of Mexico because of the kidnappings. Even if you give them the money, they still kill the victim.
