NP. I was 8yrs old when Charles and Diana got married and I thought it was the ultimate in princess, fairytale wedding dresses. Most beautiful thing I’d ever seen. Now I find it very dated to the 80s but still amazing for what it was.

Not the gospel preacher aspect, but of the low church disintermediated relationship with God and Jesus. And I say this as a Catholic, where intermediation reigns!

+1, the dress was a counterweight to all the other ways she and the ceremony departed from tradition. I was curious whether it was one of those dresses and makeup jobs that photographs differently.

Diana's dress was gorgeous at the time and absolutely perfect on her but looking at it now, it is really quite dated.

I think both Kate's and Meghan's dresses are more classic looks that will stand up to the test of time.

This is Meghan's second wedding. Not surprised she went for something simple yet elegant.

I liked Kate's dress, an update on Grace Kelly. Meghan's is okay - I get that she wanted minimalist but it was lost under that huge veil! Is it typical that the veil is larger than the dress?

I liked both the dresses. However, I expected that Meghan's dress would have been shell pink, or cream, or something.

Both brothers got beautiful brides and are married to women they love. They deserve all happiness after losing their mom. Diana would have been so happy to see both her sons happily married to strong, beautiful women.

The world is filled with sadness with all kinds of horrible news. I for once am happy that there is some joyful news and some beautiful people on screen. I am sick and tired of seeing Dotard and his pursed little girl mouth.
