It'll be fine. 18 year old kids do not want to draw adult attention to themselves. They want to hang out on the beach, body surf, go to arcades, play mini golf, eat chli dogs and cheesy fries.

If your senior is not going to beach week, then why did you feel the need to comment on this thread?

Because there is another point to college - learning. Kids only go to beach week to get drunk, high, and hook up. There nothing educational about that.
Anonymous wrote: Oh my God, I still remember my beach week. There were tons of drugs and kids were having sex everywhere. Also, everybody was drinking and driving. I don’t even know how I survived that week. It helped that I had a boyfriend and went with a huge group of friends. Seriously we ended up sleeping at a different hotel room every night depending on where the party was. We tried to stick together so if one of us was hooking up with someone we would kind of crash at that place. I was so incredibly trashed one night that I almost did acid. Thank goodness my boyfriend was with me and he shooed the person offering me the acid away. There’s no way I would let my kids go to beach week after the experience that I had.
