Baltimore too far? We got married at the Maryland Zoo and it was incredible. Animals can come to the cocktail hour! Congrats to your daughter

Blind Whino! Also the Josephine Butler Parks Center is lovely and on the cheaper end of the scale (though it's not cheap), and Dock 5 at Union Market.

President Lincoln's Cottage, on the Armed Forces Retirement Home Campus (I haven't been to a wedding here, but I've seen it set up)

Is Traxx still around?

Uh, no. Traxx closed at least 15 years ago.

No only did it close in 1999, but it’s gone and buried under the Navy Yard’s WeWork building.

I’m sorry, what?? There is a WeWork building where Tracks once stood? Please tell me this is a horrible lie.

I would gently invite you to go to your Google Map app, type in 80 M Street SE and raise a glass for the once fabulous club. Had some great dates there with my now spouse

The best wedding receptions are at hotels. People have fun since they don't have to drive anywhere.
