I made it up because I can't imagine little Veda's brother being Kiernan. Sorry, I like it.

One more:
Reid and Damian

It’s a mouthful. I’d pick one or the other but not both.

Anonymous wrote:I'm the PP who thought Kiernan sounded feminine. I did look it up first and was aware it is an Irish male name. You are still going to get a reaction from people who aren't Irish and think it's a made up name or a fantasy character. That's not necessarily a bad thing but OP should be aware. Given OP's other daughter is Veda I did not suspect the family are Irish themselves though I could be wrong.

DP Just because you are ignorant of the name Kieran being a male name doesn't mean the rest of the world is.

Op: I like Kieran but, not really a fan of Rowan. I would do

Kieran and Conor or Kieran and Alexander or Kieran and Felix ( love the name Felix!)

I think that Riley or Rylee and Kieran go together.

Anonymous wrote:Ronan and Kieran would be easier to say together, IMO. Kieran and Rowan are both nice names but don't seem to be in the same naming universe as Veda so I can't really get a feel for your aesthetic.

NP. I totally agree. Ronan and Kieran are easier to say together. My son has a Kieran in his 1st grade class and I think it’s a lovely name.

Remember if either of them have a hard time with “r”, they will be Wowan and Kiewan for a time.

If I keep Kieran, what’s a similar name to Rowan?

I’m going to nix Ronan. Rhys is my nephew middle names and my friend has a Declan. Should we keep Arlo?

Kieran
Arlo Rowan?

It's easy to mixup the pronunciation and say Ronan and Kiernan or Rowan and Kierwan. Both names are nice but hard to to say together.
