Subject: Preemie babies age norming for AAP tests
This did make me laugh, but also took me back to my less than two pound preemie, who tested in 140s with WISC and is about to graduate from a well regarded private college. We took her to the developmental pediatrician for all those checks as an infant and toddler, and thank God she came through it all fine, although she's short!

By the 3rd grade, child's milestones are counted in years and not in months. So it seems impractical to normalize 8 year olds that were once preemies. If the child "may never adjust", that's a different topic altogether. Maybe get special needs involved.
