DCE won't last more than 3 more years. Ray McGill has had a falling out with Bullis coaching staff.
A bullis father is also behind the operation. Once his son graduates from Bullis the program will fizzle out.
The DCE 2021 team is a VERY STRONG TEAM, after that, the rest of their teams are average. Their 2022 team did not compete well in the HARCO league this Spring so don't give me that they are "very good"

DC Express is awful. Please name any top commits that have come from this club. I have yet to see one since these coaches started with Performance Lacrosse. They talk a good game but can't deliver.

Wrong. 2019 team is terrible. 2020 is average. 21 is excellent and 22 is very good. Plus, as you said, NoVa familes aren't interested.
They also will no longer practice at Bullis now that the owners split from Bullis.

So the 2023 team Madlax brought tp displace thrit own kids didn't win their own tourney. Meanwhile, the Capital team which is now the b team won 1 game all weekend, and its actuslly a 2022 and 2023 combo b team.

Are they having trouble forming younger ages teams? I noticed they had tryouts for a 5th grade team last Summer, did that not get formed? Also, the 6th grade team played in the B league in HoCo, are they expecting more talent as they continue to establish the younger ages teams? I know this stuff takes time to build, wondering if they are a good option for my son compared to other clubs. Thanks.

Can someone run through how VLC works, season by season, for the elementary aged kids? Is it Spring, Summer, and Fall? How many practices a week and what leagues do they play in? I checked out the website and it has very little information. It also looked like the youngest teams have little scheduled in terms of games and tournaments.

VLC is owned by the Crabs, but run by guys locally here with great reputations. Only a few teams are coached by the Madlax owner, so many don't see him. It's whether or not you feel comfortable giving him your money. If you google the Blackwolf owner's name, you'll see what you need to know.

Prospects is a pretty bad program if your son is a strong player. They play in awful tournaments plus the McLean box league. I also heard they folded, but that may be just a rumor.
VLC is just as strong in terms of talent and recruiting success and those parents don't have the same angst in terms of who gets their money as Madlax parents do. Blackwolf also has great talent in their HS program, but their owner is also an issue.

I would go Pride Lax hands down for girls if you want development and ability for DD to play two sports. They fully support 2 sport athletes.....

Madlax girls will never be successful because it started as a boys program. The vast majority of girls programs across the country were started for, and only have, girls teams. In fact, I cant think of a top club program, or really any well-regarded club program, that has both boys and girls. Girls lacrosse is very very different from boys lacrosse.
