I had no idea my favorite librarian was packing such heat in the male partner department.
they have been together for a while; it's not news. but i am surprised how little attention/reporting is there regarding this couple (as opposed to brangelina, aniston etc).
I had no idea honestly. And they've been married for 6 years.
Perhaps because - A) He spends a lot of his time in the UK and avoiding the media and B) Her career is nowhere near what Angelina and Aniston's is.
I just found out they bought a New York townhouse. Hmm.

And Amal Clooney did it!
And Geena Davis.
Halle Berry.
Gwen Stefani.
Tina Fey.
Salma Hayek,
Celine Dion.
Nicole Kidman.
Janet Jackson.
Many of these women were late 30s/early 40s when they had their children.

Idk. I personally think that we don’t quite know the long-term health effects of elective freezing of eggs. In particular, I would be concerned that the increased hormones could lead to an increased risks for certain types of cancer. Additionally, I worry that as a society we need to focus on supporting motherhood through paid maternity leave and things like that first or else the new norm will be companies expecting women to delay having kids in a way that also is not a real choice.
Anonymous wrote:With all the own egg/embryo freezing becoming a normal practice for those of us who delay getting pregnant I truly hope this question will begin to disappear. Right now it is more celebrity types who are having late in life babies but with the heavy push for late 20's/30's women of all walks of life to store eggs later in life babies will become more and more the norm. My sister had twins just before she turned 50 9+ years ago. At nearly 60 - she is healthy, active, in an amazing job and I don't see her parenting as any different than her much younger kids. Who cares in what form the cells came together for that baby-lucky her!
