Yes, and that's why the left keeps making comparisons to Hitler. It's insulting to the memory of the murdered and the nightmares of the survivors. And all it is is a Democratic campaign strategy - to scare the crap out of minorities so they'll go to the polls. Turnout is key to a Democratic win, and fear is a great motivator. And it's basically all they have.
So yes, OP...I agree with fear and anger, but it's the fear being generated from the left. And as far as anger, have you read this forum? The hateful accusations against anyone who dared not vote for Hillary is on a level I've never seen before (and I'm 60).
Your memory must be failing you.
DP, but seriously? Nothing of substance to add to the PP’s very well-articulated argument? S/he is absolutely right. Fear mongering is the left’s stock and trade. The constant outrage and hyperbole? It’s all designed to whip the base (liberals) into a frenzy of fear and manipulate minorities into feeling some unnamed fear - all in the hopes of getting poor people out to the polls to vote for the Democrats. And if you dare have a mind of your own and vote for a Republican? According to these morons, you’re Hitler incarnate. It sounds like something out of a Mel Brooks satire... until you realize this is actually happening.

It’s all designed to whip the base (conservatives) into a frenzy of fear and manipulate lower-middle-class whites into feeling some unnamed fear - all in the hopes of getting people named (or who know someone named) Wayne out to the polls to vote for the Republicans. And if you dare have a mind of your own and vote for a Democrat? According to these morons, you’re, gasp, "a liberal" incarnate. It sounds like something out of The Handmaid's Tale... until you realize this is actually happening.

This. It is as simple as this.
But it’s not that simple, of course.
Let’s assume Open Borders is the predominant issue for Trump voters. What fuels that, specifically?
Economics ie people taking jobs? liberals creating a slave labor class of illegals
Culture ie feeling like the White Man is becoming a minority? liberals not really caring about vetting immigrants, illegal or otherwise
Safety ie fear of crime secondary to immigration? If you don't vet those who come in, you can increase the criminal element in your country
Safety ie fear of terrorism secondary to immigration? See above
“Law & Order” ie illegal immigrants are breaking the law? Unequal application of the law when illegals break it is more the concern
———-> Fear and Anger fuel most of the above, as OP said.
See bolded. In addition, fear and anger are emotions, and I'm not surprised liberals focus and stop there, rather than getting down to the practical realities. It's simply lazy and easy to protest, boycott, etc., then it is to really parse through the problems and find real solutions.

NP. Is this a Hillary reference without saying “Hillary”?
I trust you’re equally if not more concerned with the misapplication and inequitable application of Justice in communities of color?
Boy, you liberals are really focused aren't you![]()
It's a reference to the inner corruption within the upper echelon of the FBI. I do know there is a lot going on under the hood and it's important to get a case that sticks. Which his why McCabe's firing is now 'old news' to liberals; when the truth came out in that IG report, they abandoned their talking points.
I am very concerned about American citizens of all colors being swept under the carpet in favor of non-citizens. The government has no income of its own - it is fueled by tax dollars, which are finite. When you take from one group of people in favor of another, well, you can see how that can be a problem for the first group.

OP - You may want to go through life with the attitude that others have positive intentions. It will serve you well.
What a beautiful moderating force. Your beneficence is no doubt equal time, and you must have finger cramps from gently chiding R’s who use “libtard” freely. Thank you, sir or ma’am. Yours is the shining path.
Your path is The Shining.

Yes, it's undeniable. Think about the origins of the word.
Or consult the dictionary:
conserve -- to seek to protect something from harm or destruction.
They r cats alright. Afraid of crime, immgrants, gay people, terrorists, flouridation, etc. conservatives love to act tough but inside of that hard outer shell is quivering jello.
Yup.
