My 11 year old DD is also 4’7” but her doctor didn’t seem to think her period is imminent. She was adopted and given her birth parents’ height and her own growth pattern, she is definitely going to be short.
If it helps, my MIL is 4’10” and my husband is 6’1”. Genetics is tricky.
How tall does your pedi anticipate your daughter to become. If she’s 11 with no period close in sight, it seems like she would hit 5’2” atleast. IMO, no need for growth hormone consideration at all!

Actually, no, the signs were not as obvious in terms of timing. I was guessing about a year before menstruation. The pediatrician thinks it’s more like 4-6 months. For a girl of small stature, that’s a potentially significant difference of a couple inches. I am hoping her adult height is at least 5 feet.

My younger sister had growth hormone deficiency and took growth hormone injections for several years. Now she's taller than I am (I'm 5'0 and was never tested for growth hormone deficiency).
There's nothing to lose by getting a consult...

Why more imminent than expected? Aren't the signs in girls pretty obvious?
