What hotel in NYC had bunk beds. I LOVE bunk beds when travelling with the kids -- no complaints that someone is rolling into someone or hogging the covers!

Great Wolf Lodge for two nights - three days with a 7 year old and a 2 year old . Fun, relaxing, everything in one spot with lots of options for each kid.

We took our toddler to Cancun. First trip out of the country with him.

I don’t want to admit to myself how much it sucked toddler cried and tantrumed a lot. I found it kind of exhausting. I felt inept as a parent.

I’m not sure when I’ll want to travel again

It made me miss my old life when I could travel alone with DH, which in turn made me feel guilty.

We got some amazing pictures out of it though.

We spent a week in Costa Rica with two teens. There’s so much to do there it was a very active vacation which is good for my family.

This is what we are doing next year, hoping for Vegas on the end though. Booked Zion Lodge today and Bryce Lodge this Wednesday, just booking 5 nights at each until we figure out what our actual travel dates will be, then can modify each reservation. Kids will be 15 and 11. Hoping to stay at Manadalay Bay with their 7 pools. Planning on 2 nights at Zion, one or 2 at Bryce depending on how the flights are working out. What was your itinerary?

We stayed home. Everyday did something went to Mosaic district, George Town, Tysons, day trip to DC, one day we did escape room . It was our first time and we got out with 11 second left.
Slept late, woke up late, ate a lot. Best time spent together.

We went to Colombia with an 8 and 10 yr old. Visited Bogota, Medellin, and Cartagena. We went Tues 3/20 - Sat. 3/31. We were supposed to leave 3/21 but due to the impending storm we left a day earlier. Had a great time. Wish we didn't have to come home but we have these pesky things called jobs and school.

That sounds very fun. We're lucky to live in a really awesome city and there's so much to do here. (We traveled and had a great time -- so easy when your kids get older.)

Any cruise fare includes food. There are specialty dining places on any ship that require an extra charge, ranging from Starbucks to fancy steakhouses, but we never pay for any of them. We also don't get a beverage package which ranges from 55$ per day per person down to maybe 12-15$ for sodas (plus 18% tip). We buy a few alcoholic beverages and kiddie cocktails that don't add up to much.
