Are you disabled?

No, I just enjoy his touch, as he does mine!

My husband never (and I dislike using absolutes like “never” because life is so rarely that black and white) does anything like these gestures. I feel like I shouldn’t have to *ask* him. Maybe that’s immature of me? I have had the sinking feeling for a long time that maybe he just really doesn’t care about me that much. Or at least enough to make any minimum effort.

My spouse and I are both looking for new jobs in different locations because we would like a change of scenery and we could benefit from living in a lower cost of living area. Right now we have opportunities in different cities, both of which are pretty bad for the other one's career. My opportunity is better for our family finances.

We are both struggling with how to approach this decision. And yet he is regularly sending me real estate options for my opportunity's location, which says so much about his open-mindedness and means a lot to me.

He writes ILY on the bathroom mirror condensation while I shower.
He goes with me to every single doctor appointment (I have a lot!) no matter how minor I think it's going to be.
He opens doors for me, carries my bags, holds my hand.
I love this man.

Again, I love that you love that, but WTF?

Mine does none of this stuff, despite me asking a million times. Sigh. So depressing.

I was on my feet all day today working an art show. I got home exhausted and a glass of wine and dinner was waiting for me.

He plays with my hair on my head to help me fall asleep. Changes his work schedule around for kid appointments and the like.
